Strawberry : Mara des Bois

A unique French bred ever-bearing variety which combines the fragrance of the wild Woods Strawberry (Fragaria vesca) with the fruit size and yield of a modern variety. The berries are medium sized, attractively coloured, reasonably firm, very fragrant and with a taste and aroma similar to that of wild strawberries.

Planted in the spring Strawberry Mara des Bois crops continually from July until October.

Visitors to those wonderful French local markets will recognise Mara des Bois as the most widely grown and sought after variety in France.
